He has written us to do an episode on OCD & some remedies for OCD Mr. Pranay let me share meaning of OCD it means Obsessive Compulsive disorder its basically an anxiety disorder in which brain starts giving wrong signals due to this people become over conscious for hygiene & keep washing their hands repeatedly, like if they touch their head,then they feel like bacteria in their hands then they again wash their hands and then even if they touch anything or shake hand with any body even then they will wash hands, This is how they obsessed and its symptom is washing had repeatedly or they obsession of switching off the lights &fan and some of them don't even switch on the light even if there is so much of dark. and in case they will on the light then on very low flame.

they may on the small light or small bulb that is also a kind of obsession ,Obsession of lock, some of them feel that their lock is remain unlock. they lock it repeatedly.even if they have lock but they will keep on check the lock again and again. sometime,they even get up in the night & keep check on the lock. similarly,there is a obsession of keeping the door lock. as they feel like that door is unlock. even if they have lock the door but again and again they will keep on check whether the door is locked or not. Along with this a person was known to me & she had the obsession of having clean notes as everyone touches them. So,if someone gives her money then she use to wash & dry them like clothes then only keep them with herself. So, brain gives them wrong signals & they feel like only they are very hygiene rest everyone around them is dirty. They are unhygienic and only they are clean. See,what you have to do to get rid of this.

Very simple-simple methods to follow. firstly chew your food bit by bit because if you eat your food in hurry & don't chew if properly then it created the problem. Secondly, maintain the blood sugar level. As if your BP level is low then this problem will increase For that don’t eat too much in one go,instead eat small meals in the gap of 2 & 1/2 hour You must eat a handful amount of food in every 2 & ½ hour &that also 4-5 times Apart from that you have to drink maximum of water with this toxins get released Since its anxiety disorder then you must do anulom-vilom pranayam When you will do anulom-vilom pranayam then your mind will get energy Also it get oxygen & that gives maximum of relief in this problem Basically you have to do all that which gives you relax Listen to the music of your choice, If you like light music then listen to it Go to garden, as soon you wake up and walk bare feet on the grass you will get maximum relief with this. Do swimming, aerobics, jogging with all this androfils releases What is androfils ,it’s a feel good hormone And by when your body will release feel good hormone then you start feeling good And slowly-slowly your mind will understand that you have problem That everyone is dirty and I am clean? Its not like that rather I have a problem And second most important thing is that you have to accept that you have this problem Because brain is giving wrong signals & people don’t accept this as a problem They think that they are right and rest of the world is wrong So, firstly accept that you have the problem then comes to its solution For solution take 4 almonds,4 walnuts and 2 spoon of flex seeds Grind them all by putting them into grinder & it will become like a powder Mix 1 spoon of this powder & consume this milk at empty stomach in the morning If you are not diabetes then you can add 2 spoon of honey in this milk And you will notice that within few days the problem of OCD will be disappear There is one more effective remedy.

Shankhpushpi which is known as passion flower If you got it fresh then you can boil it and consume it as it is But in case you don’t get it then now a days its syrup is available Then take 1 spoon of its syrup and ½ spoon of ginger juice & also add 1/2 spoon of Liquorice powder Mix them all & you have to consume this twice a time in a day You will notice that you will start having relief in problem of OCD Along with this take bath with hot water and get the massage done. This will also give you relief What all things which release androfils , you have to do all that which gives you pleasure Take hot water bath & massage with almond oil with that also you will get so much of relief. Along with this its necessary to sleep at least 7-8 hours And yes, don’t use nikotin. Using nikotin will only increase your problem And complete no to consumption of caffeine as it only and only increases the problem of OCD Caffiene is available in many type of energy drinks & its also available in coffee as well So, NI caf is available if you are fond of coffee then you can have it that only If you are fond of coffee, else avoid the coffee Always notice whether energy drinks contains caffeine,in case its inclusive of it Then you don’t have to consume that, along with this You have to consume alcohol in limit, if you can stop using it then well and good Patients of OCD think that taking alcohol helps them in their problem But it actually doesn’t work ,instead with alcohol your blood pressure become low For a short period of time your mind becomes calm & you think that you are relived During OCD ,folic acid is necessary for body to fight with For getting folic acid you can buy beetroot Consume Spinach, green leafy vegetables, coriander also So, your body will get folic acid in natural form And with this also you will get relief in OCD Along with this do swimming, if you have facility of swimming then you must do as it helps to release androfils You get feel good hormone & get relief from problem of OCD.
